Davie sellers work out of ranch-lot houses, campus-adjacent apartments and small flex bays off SR 84 — none of which enjoy a pallet delivery. Our warehouse in Medley is about 27 miles south, roughly 30 minutes on I-595 and I-75. Bring cartons to the dock or have suppliers deliver here directly; units get counted, labeled and sent into FBA within 24–48 hours.
Davie is an unusual seller town. Half of it looks agricultural — fenced acreage, feed stores, trail crossings on Orange Drive — and the other half is a university district built around Nova Southeastern and Broward College's south campus. Both halves produce Amazon sellers, and neither produces warehouse space.
The result is predictable. A seller starts in a two-car garage, moves into a rented storage unit near Griffin Road, then discovers that the storage bay has no dock, no forklift and no receiving hours that suit an LTL carrier. Every restock becomes a lifting job in the Florida heat.
There is genuine light industry in town — the flex bays along SR 84, State Road 7 and Davie Road handle contractors, boat trades and small distributors. Those bays are excellent for a business with a van. They are the wrong shape for a live container unload, which is where our dock takes over.
What we do is the whole middle of the chain: receive whatever arrives, count it against your purchase order, photograph anything that looks wrong, apply FNSKU and compliance labels with a scan-verify pass, bag or bubble or bundle to your instructions, hold reserve stock on racks, and build shipments into the fulfillment centers Amazon assigns.
| Davie reality | How it plays out for FBA inventory |
|---|---|
| Residential and agricultural zoning | Freight carriers won't unload pallets at your address; ours is built for it |
| University population | Small, fast-moving seller accounts are normal here — no minimum volume needed |
| SR 84 flex-bay industry | Fine for vans, wrong for containers; we unload 20–53ft trailers |
| I-595 and I-75 access | Two highways, one interchange, about 30 minutes to our dock |
| Port Everglades nearby | Your import can clear there and dray to Medley in roughly 35 minutes |
A trunk full of cartons, a parcel stream, an LTL pallet from a distributor, or a container off Port Everglades — all checked in against your paperwork the day they land.
Quantities reconciled to your PO and photos taken of crushed cases, wet corners or short shipments, while the supplier claim window is still open.
Labels placed over manufacturer barcodes and scanned to confirm they read, plus expiration-date labeling on any dated goods you carry.
Suffocation-warning poly bags where Amazon's sizing rules require them, bubble for fragile items, shrink for multi-piece sets that must stay together.
Bins for small SKUs and pallet positions for bulk buys, billed monthly on the space you actually occupy, released into FBA as your sell-through calls for it.
Case packs with box-content data for Amazon, plus FBM, Shopify, eBay, Etsy and Walmart WFS orders picked from the same shelves.
Started with a shelf in the house, now buying by the pallet and out of space. We take the volume without asking for a lease or a forklift certification.
Selling between lectures near the NSU campus, moving modest volume, needing prep that charges per unit instead of per month.
Contractors, marine and equestrian businesses along SR 84 that added an Amazon channel and now need someone else to label and bag it.
Buying from overseas factories, clearing through Port Everglades or PortMiami, and needing a commercial address that can actually receive the container.
Residential and agricultural addresses aren't freight destinations, and liftgate surcharges only paper over the problem. Change the consignee to our Medley dock and the delivery becomes routine.
Self-storage has no dock, no racking and no one to count your units. Ours has all three, billed monthly on the space you use, with stock released into FBA on demand.
Hand labeling without verification is how stranded inventory starts. Every label we apply gets scanned before the carton closes, so a bad print is caught here rather than at an Amazon receiving station.
Then the warehouse ships without you. Standing prep instructions plus replenishment triggers keep the account stocked while your week belongs to something else.
What you sell, monthly units, and how stock arrives. You get a rate sheet and our receiving address inside one business day.
Drive it down I-595, courier it, or list our dock as the delivery address on your next supplier order.
Counted on arrival day, photographed if anything is off, then labeled, bagged and scan-verified to your standing instructions.
Carrier hand-off within 24–48 hours; leftover stock stays on our racks and feeds the next replenishment when sell-through calls for it.
At 8871 NW 102nd St in Medley, weekdays 9:00 to 18:00. Most Davie clients pick up I-595 at Davie Road or Pine Island Road, run west to I-75, then south until it feeds the Palmetto Expressway, and exit at NW 103rd St. Send us a note before you load the car so your receiving paperwork is already open when you back into the dock.
Around 30 minutes for roughly 27 miles from central Davie, assuming you are not driving into the morning peak. Western Davie near Flamingo Road adds a few minutes; the Griffin Road and SR 84 side of town is slightly quicker. The I-75 stretch through Miramar is the part that stalls, usually before 9:00 and again after 16:30.
You can run the business there; the inventory is the part that stops working. A single-family lot in Davie has room for a few dozen cartons before the garage, the Florida room and eventually the barn get involved — and no LTL driver is going to put a pallet jack on a residential driveway. Keep the office at home and let the stock live on our racks.
No. We price per unit and there is no monthly minimum to clear, so a student seller moving a hundred units a month is charged for a hundred units. Plenty of accounts start at that scale between classes and grow into pallets later. What we ask for is clear prep instructions per SKU, not a particular volume.
Yes. Port Everglades is roughly 35 minutes from our dock, so a drayman can deliver a container or LCL pallets to us the same day it releases. Your customs broker or forwarder handles clearance and duties — we are not the importer of record — and we take custody at the door with a count against your packing list.
That is a common reason Davie sellers call. Small industrial bays along SR 84 and Davie Road are built for vans and box trucks, not for a 40ft or 53ft trailer with a live unload. We receive containers from 20ft to 53ft, plus LCL and air cargo, unload them into our building and reconcile the count before anything moves to a prep bench.
It means the labeling gun is now yours or ours. Since January 1, 2026 Amazon US has not offered FBA prep or item labeling, and units that show up unprepped and then get damaged or lost sit outside reimbursement. Doing it yourself is realistic for a small restock; it stops being realistic somewhere around the first thousand-unit purchase order.
We prep them as physical goods: FNSKU labels applied over factory barcodes, poly bags with suffocation warnings where the size rules call for one, bubble for anything with a buckle or a hard edge, and bundles built to your recipe for grooming or tack sets. Category approvals and product compliance stay on your side of the account; the handling is ours.
Drive it when it fits in a car and you were heading toward Miami-Dade anyway. Ship it when it is palletized, when it is still sitting at a supplier, or when the alternative is renting a box truck for an afternoon. Redirecting a delivery to our address costs you nothing, which is why most Davie accounts settle into shipping in and driving down only occasionally.
