Sunny Isles Beach is one of the most vertical square miles in Florida and one of the most international. The city sits between the Intracoastal and the Atlantic, its spine is Collins Avenue, and nearly everything along it is a residential tower. Its residents come heavily from Eastern Europe, the Russian-speaking world and Latin America, and a striking share of them run businesses that are legally and commercially American.
A lot of those businesses are Amazon accounts. The seller lives here, buys from a factory abroad, sells to US customers, and never needs an office to do it. What they do need, unavoidably, is a physical place for physical goods, and a condo on the 34th floor is not that place.
The constraints are concrete. Buildings restrict commercial deliveries. Package rooms are sized for envelopes. Storage cages, where they exist, hold a bicycle. Freight carriers will not attempt a residential tower with a pallet, and if one does, the confrontation with building management is a bad afternoon.
Meanwhile Amazon will not absorb the problem. Restock limits keep you from parking a full purchase order in the network, and as of January 2026 Amazon has walked away from prep and item-labeling work across the United States, leaving damaged or missing unprepped units outside reimbursement. Reserve stock has to sit somewhere with racks, and it has to arrive at Amazon already correct.
Medley is that somewhere: an industrial corridor 22 miles down one highway from your building, close to MIA, PortMiami and Amazon's MIA1 facility, where your inventory can be a counted position on a shelf instead of a problem in your hallway.

There is a nice accident of geography here. The Palmetto Expressway is signed SR 826, and its eastern terminus is the 163rd Street Causeway that begins at the edge of Sunny Isles Beach. From Collins Avenue you get on one road and stay on it until the NW 103rd Street exit, about 22 miles and roughly 35 minutes later.
Most towers here say some version of that, and they are within their rights. Once your supplier consigns freight to our Medley dock, the building has nothing to object to and you stop having a quarterly argument with the front desk.
Then the container lands, gets counted, gets photographed and gets prepped without you. You read the receiving report in whatever time zone you are in and trigger releases from your phone. Distance is a scheduling detail, not an obstacle.
Restock limits are why reserve storage exists. The balance stays on our racks, already prepped, and moves in as capacity opens. You buy on your supplier's terms rather than Amazon's.

Monthly, on the space your goods actually occupy, with no setup fee and no monthly minimum to reach. Slow months cost less because you are holding less. There is no penalty for keeping a deep buy here rather than pushing it all into Amazon, which is the entire point of holding reserve stock outside the fulfillment network in the first place.
Yes. Nothing in our receiving process requires you to be in Florida or even awake. Deliveries are accepted against your purchase order, counted, photographed if anything looks wrong, and reported by email. With standing prep instructions on file, labeling and packing continue on schedule. Sunny Isles empties out for months at a time and inventory does not care where its owner is sleeping.
They can, and it is the cleanest way to run an account from here. Send us the purchase order and point the factory or forwarder at our Medley dock as the delivery address. We do not act as importer of record and we do not provide customs brokerage, so arrange clearance through your own forwarder. DDP terms keep that boundary tidy. Cleared air freight out of MIA is on our floor roughly ten minutes later, and drayed containers from the port take about twenty-five.
